Bhumro Bhumro : Tale of the block printed skirt and the Kundan necklace

First of all I would like to enlighten you about My neckpiece made of “Kundan”

Kundan keshri is a traditional form of Indian gemstone jewellery involving a gem set with gold foil between the stones and its mount, usually for elaborate necklaces. The method is believed to have originated in the royal courts of Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is the oldest form of jewellery made and worn in India

My black block printed skirt explains itself but still would love to give little info about it too..

Woodblock printing on textiles is the process of printing patterns on textiles, usually of linencotton or silk, by means of incised woodenblocks. It is the earliest, simplest and slowest of all methods of textile printing. Block printing by hand is a slow process. It is, however, capable of yielding highly artistic results, some of which are unobtainable by any other method.

Skulls, Zebras and a touch of bling-bling

#teenvogue

Went as a judge to a fashion show today.. Really ecstatic! It was very well organized and presented.
Before the razzmatazz I was really confused about what to wear to the event. So my mom helped me pick out this zebra print georgette gown designed by me ( #sidhuji ) and it was accompanied by my portobello find of the McQ (shhhh.. it’s our little secret, Hurray !!)
Tied my hair and curled the ends to get that dreamy-homely look and paired this with the gems neckpiece that I got from Thailand during my last vacation. Oh the beach, the spa… Anyways… Skipped the earrings because clip ons make my ears hurt (no piercings for me please..)
And well, recently my eyes have been observing that animal prints are really calling everyone in, you just cant ignore them, they are everywhere.. Is it, or is it just me <confused>

P.S : My <3 angad did my photography and m loving my lilac nail enamel ahhhhh

Museum bagore ki haweli was a puppet and art museum which had some amazing art sculptures made from thermocol, cloth and a hundreds of puppets depicting the kings, queens and their armies !
With the warm heat here in the city of lakes ; Udaipur, I  thought that i should keep it minimalistic with a dress and a braid to keep it cool!
